$5 to Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC
Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC is a national nonprofit founded in 1991 to protect civil and human rights and to build and promote a fair and equitable society for all.
Advancing Justice | AAJC is currently implementing a five-year strategic plan aimed at ensuring that Asian Americans have equal access to social and economic opportunities and that Asian Americans are able to fully participate in our American democracy, focusing on:
Strengthening Roots: By increasing the visibility of Asian Americans as part of the fabric of America; by strengthening and expanding federal immigration policies that promote family unification, integration, and naturalization rates of Asian Americans; and by ensuring an accurate reflection of Asian Americans in the decennial Census.
Promoting Equal Protections: By ensuring legal protections for Asian Americans through litigation.
Building Political Power: By increasing the voting power of the Asian American electorate on a national level and by strengthening and expanding the capacity of local community-based organizations to advance and protect the rights of Asian Americans and other communities of color.
