Opportunity starts with safe water. Yet 1 in 10 people lack access to safe water and 1 in 4 lack access to a toilet. Water.org exists to change this.

We connect people in need with access to small, affordable loans for water and sanitation solutions at home - unlocking education, economic opportunity and improved health. To date, we've reached more than 43 million people in 17 countries with access to safe water or sanitation.

For families in poverty, lasting access to safe water at home means hope. Women and children will no longer spend hours collecting water and their days can be spent earning, learning, and creating a bright future. With your support, together we can change more lives with safe water, and the hope and opportunity that flow from it.

Donations will be distributed to non-profits roughly six weeks after the month end of when the points were donated. Contributions to nonprofit organizations that are undeliverable will be given to a nonprofit of Microsoft’s choosing on your behalf. This could happen if the nonprofit no longer meets the participation criteria.
