$1 to Team Rubicon

Since 2010, Team Rubicon (TR) has united the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, emergency managers, medical professionals, and technology to provide immediate relief to communities affected by disaster. From Hurricane Harvey on the Gulf Coast to earthquakes in Nepal, the 60,000 volunteers of Team Rubicon have responded to over 210 disasters across the country and the world.

Military veterans have an innate sense of service and community. By utilizing the skills gained in the military, our veterans are uniquely positioned to serve in times of disaster and crisis. Yet by continuing to serve, many veterans find a renewed sense of Purpose, Community and Identity, three intangibles valuable for many transitioning veterans.

When disaster strikes, TR focuses on the communities most at risk and those who bear the largest financial burden of recovering. All services are provided free of charge to communities and homeowners in need.

The cash donation to the non-profit organization will be made on your behalf following the expiration of the calendar quarter (i.e., March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31) in which your donation is made. Microsoft will use reasonable efforts to provide the cash donation to the applicable non-profit organization within 60 days of the end of the previous calendar quarter. Microsoft shall make such payment to non-profit organizations of Microsoft’s choosing on your behalf if: (i) the non-profit organization you choose is no longer available at the redemption center when the payment is made; or (ii) the aggregated cash donation for your non-profit organization at the time the payment is made is under $10. Contributions to non-profit organizations that are undeliverable will be given to a non-profit organization of Microsoft’s choosing on your behalf.
