Chaplains on the Way's charitable mission is to be in relationship with people who are experiencing homelessness, living in poverty, or living with mental illness or addiction, as spiritual care providers and companions through life's struggles. COTW is committed to serving people of all faiths, as well as people of no particular faith. We strive to help people find hope and meaning in their lives by helping them draw upon their own faith traditions and life experiences. COTW lives out its primary mission through presence, accompaniment, and advocacy. We act as a bridge between those we serve and faith communities, schools, hospitals, and social service providers. Our ongoing relationships with people, whose basic needs for housing and health care generally are not adequately met, inspire our work for systemic change, particularly around issues relating to homelessness, mental illness, and treatment for substance abuse.
Microsoft partners with Benevity to facilitate its donations. Your points redemption activity will be deducted from your account immediately. Within six weeks after the end of the month in which you redeem your points, Microsoft will make a cash donation based on your redemption to a donor-advised fund at the Benevity UK Online Giving Foundation (OGF), with a recommendation that they make a corresponding grant to your selected nonprofit organization. OGF will take exclusive legal control of Microsoft's donation on your behalf. Donation redemptions are non-refundable. If your chosen nonprofit is not able to receive the donation (for example, if it no longer meets the participation criteria), or if the donation is otherwise undeliverable, the cash donation will be redirected to a nonprofit of Microsoft's choosing. Non-profits are not endorsed by Microsoft.
