Final Salute Inc. was founded in 2010 by a woman Veteran and cancer survivor who became aware of the many homeless women Veterans in the United States. She realized a need for an organization designed to meet and understand the unique needs of homeless women Veterans and their children. There may no longer be front lines in war; however, female Veterans feel they are put at the end of the line when seeking housing and other supportive services. Since the Revolutionary War, over 2,000,000 women have served with honor. They have fulfilled their obligations to their country. We need to support them during their time of need. With the help of the American people, foundation, and corporate supporters, we know our mission is achievable.
Microsoft partners with Benevity to facilitate its donations. Your points redemption activity will be deducted from your account immediately. Within six weeks after the end of the month in which you redeem your points, Microsoft will make a cash donation based on your redemption to a donor-advised fund at the Benevity UK Online Giving Foundation (OGF), with a recommendation that they make a corresponding grant to your selected nonprofit organization. OGF will take exclusive legal control of Microsoft's donation on your behalf. Donation redemptions are non-refundable. If your chosen nonprofit is not able to receive the donation (for example, if it no longer meets the participation criteria), or if the donation is otherwise undeliverable, the cash donation will be redirected to a nonprofit of Microsoft's choosing. Non-profits are not endorsed by Microsoft.
