NetHope is Bridging the New Digital Divides: Over the next decade, NetHope and the NetHope Global Community will lead collective action to bridge - The New Digital Divides – skills and leadership, inclusion, protection, transformation and innovation, climate adaptation and resilience - leveraging our powerful, proven model for advancing global good. These divides represent critical gaps in infrastructure, systems, capabilities, and knowledge across five prominent areas. Digital Skills & Leadership – NetHope will advance sustained digital transformation across the sector by going beyond basic digital literacy to accelerate digital understanding, capabilities and leadership at the strategic and intermediate levels our Members— and their communities—need to thrive. Digital Inclusion – NetHope and the NetHope Global Community will lead the sector in fighting bias, exclusion, non-representation, and barriers to access, seeking permanent solutions to build resilience, prioritize localization, act as digital first responders and improve post-disaster restoration, and nurture long-term digital access and services. Digital Protection – NetHope will drive multi-sector, collaborative and strategic approaches to address increasing digital security threats—like cyber security and mis/dis/mal information—with an emphasis on insights and skills-sharing, global co-creation, and long-term commitment to protect digital rights. Digital Transformation & Innovation – NetHope will utilize our influence, networks, experience, and data to tackle complex issues with insightful policies and ethical technology solutions. Our focus on efficiency, relevance, and scalability includes leading the safe adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI. Digital for Climate Adaptation & Resilience – draw on the full might of our convening, grantmaking, accelerating and catalyzing power to scale effective digitally-powered responses to climate-related challenges across our sector.
